The instrument screen disguises the Speedo of the R1200GS & Adv. An additional electrical system plug socket with safeguard unit is integrated. Thus mobile telephones or GPS devices can be plugged directly into the cockpit without messy connecting cables halfway round the motorcycle. Direct connection allows use of devices without the ignition being switched on, a problem with the R1200GS. This screen is black powder-coated aluminum and combined with Stainless steel attachments.
