Components like an aluminum Chassi, radial brakes and electronic Fahrassistenzsysteme like the Race ABS and inclination-dependent slip permitting dynamic traction control named DTC clarify the extreme sporty genes of this machine. 193 HP with 112 Nm speak a still clearer language. With scarcely 200kg the S1000RR can offer the forehead to every other sport motorcycle. BMW motorcycle participated in the season 2009 thereby already in the Superbike world championship and the IDM Superbike.
