The mechanical Anti Hopping clutch prevents the blocking of the rear wheel dependent on the carriageway surfacing. This is reached by an accurate tuning of clutch spring action and release counter acting force of the AH system. The Anti Hopping clutch reacts always accurately directly to the actual slip of the rear wheel, while the original clutch sometimes also opens, if this is not necessary. The installation is made quite fast because the original clutch basket remains. Likewise the original clutch plates are re-used.
