2014-02-03 - at the Hornig Track

In autumn 2013 six very special vehicles met at the Hornig area in Cham, Germany in order to find out which one is the fastest on a short, small and winding track.
The three competitors on two wheels were the air cooled BMW R1200GS (110hp) from 2012, the new water cooled BMW R1200GS (125hp) from 2013 and the BMW S1000RR (193hp) from 2012.
Theoretical they have no chance against Supersport cars on four wheels when it is about cornering speed. The competitors were a tuned Nissan GT-R with 700hp, a Ferrari 458 Italia with 570hp and a Roding Roadster with 420hp (Carbon Fiber Supersport car with only 950kg).
