BMW S1000R conversion by Hornig

2014-09-01 - more comfort and individuality

We will present our brand new BMW S1000R conversion for the first time at the Intermot 2014 in Cologne, Germany. The BMW S1000R is a great and sporty naked bike by BMW Motorrad.
Our focus for this conversion was on more comfort and at least a bit more touring capability as well as that it doesn't look like any other S1000R out there.
For better ergonomics we installed a higher windshield which offers more wind protection. With the footrest system from Gilles Tooling you can lower the foot pegs and have a much better seating position.
Additional to those parts we altered the standard seats for more comfort and the tank bag with easy and fast ring-mounting offers some storage space.

The mirror extensions make sure that you can see the traffic behind you and not only your shoulders. Our handlebar GPS Mounting positions your GPS unit near your sight field.
Our cooled protection protects your cooler for stones and dirt. Our protectors on engine, swing arm and fork are not just good looking but offer also more protection and security.

Highlights are our polished oil filler plug, blue Synto brake and clutch levers as well as the small LED front turning signals and the grey LED rear light.
The polished stainless steel exhaust HyperCone from Remus makes sure that our S1000R has the necessary power and sound.
