With its latest motorcycle model, the G 310 R, BMW Motorrad takes a step into a new capacity segment and thus transfers the well-known premium quality of its high-class motorcycles to the low capacity segment with a maximum of 500cc. The premium motorcycle manufacturer's brand-new innovation has the typical characteristics of a BMW Roadster. It is the ideal vehicle for rides in a city, but can also be perfectly used for highway trips and has an innovative, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine which promises powerful dynamic with 25 kW (34 HP) and a low empty weight of only 158,5 kg. With the G 310 R it is no problem to go on longer trips since its fuel consumption is very low and its innovative design enables a comfortable sitting position for relaxed travels. Conceived for the global market, the G 310 R tolerates various fuel qualities and is compatible with worldwide emission requirements. It disposes of a very powerful brake system with standard ABS and convinces due to its dynamic and flexible riding fun and its sophisticated multifunctional instrument cluster. The optic of the G 310 R is another highlight of the Roadster: the similarity to the BMW sports machine S 1000 R suggests its agile and dynamic character at first glance.
