Brian wrote | 2017-06-03: I ordered the GPS mounting plug for my BMW K1300S motorcycle. It is mounted on the left handlebar. I have installed a TomTom Rider 400 on the plug and it works perfect. The GPS is located so it is just possible to insert the ignition key. In that way the GPS blocks the view for the lower part of the tachometer and speedometer, but it is acceptable. The power cable for the GPS can be routed discreetly to the power source plug below the tank battery hatch. When the GPS is located in this position You have a short "travel" for Your eyes from road to GPS which I value high for safety reasons. When installing the plug it is necessary to dismantle the handle bar and clutch lever to remove the original plastic plug. It is easy if You are used to do similar work. Otherwise get Your local workshop to fix it as the handlebar is a very vital item when driving :-) In all I am happy with the plug and works as expected. Cheers Brian

Now I have the GPS on the left and the GoPro on the right. I am ready to ride tomorrow to the BMW Motorrad Days in Garmisch-Partenkirchen :-)

You need to be a bit aggressive in removing the existing plug on the handlebars to replace with this, but is very sturdy. I use mine to attach an iPhone instead of a sat nav.
