A relatively cheap and simple solution to fitting a GIVI topcase to your F800ST. Needless to say the instructions are apalling, and the actual bike rack looks nothing like the one in the diagram. But simply put, you offer up the W or gull wing brackets to a suitable point underneath the tail rack and drop a hex bolt through a square washer and then through a matching hole in the top case plate - The honeycomb design you can see in the picture is all holes - attach the bolt and tighten. Repeat for all 4 bolts, chech plate is secure, then screw the cover over the top. You may need to faff around a bit to get it properly symmetrical though. NOTE! The 6 x 30mm hex bolts provided are NOT LONG ENOUGH, you will need to get hold of some 6 x 40mm bolts in order to complete the job. Great value for money, especially compared to the cost of a BMW Top Box. Quick delivery from Germany with good tracking info, highly recommended.
