Got the smoke tint. Looks awesome lights on or off, and a sweet upgrade I should have done years ago.

easy install and outstanding performance. One thing to note: there are not individual bulbs for the lights, the lights are the LED panels. I mention this as I was going to run all red lights in the back as some states do not allow you to use amber lights with braking systems. The light looks great with my silver paint.

Picked up the smoked lens version and it looks grate. Very easily seen during the day and really shines at night.
For end users : I'd suggest that you also have on hand a few fully insulated crimp on quick disconnects, I got a few from a local electronics store, pulled out the female end on the OEM wire harnness side, was my bad.

This is a very high quality product and lives up to BMW standards. I don't consider this aftermarket, more like a vastly improved factory taillight assembly. The stock running and brake lights are two small squares which aren't that visible on a bright day, while this taillight uses the entire center space for running and brake lights. I still watch my six at stoplights but I know the added conspicuity helps get me noticed. This is a great upgrade for any RT.

It was very easy to connect, and fits extremely well, just like the original.
Mine are the black version, and the first thing you notice is the contrast between black and red, this is more noticeable than red, and brighter red, so even in bright sunlight it stands out. the brake light is so much brighter, it is impossible to not notice.
The indicators also have a good contrast between black and amber, so they appear clear and bright, with a definite on/off rather than the fade in/out of a bulb.
At night, it's really bright, with the light being even across the whole area, like a big 100cm square.
I have had comments from other bikers, saying how good they look, and I have to agree.. Well done Hornig !
