You need Tankbag Mounting BF11 to mount this tankbag. Tankbag Mounting BF11 fits only for fuel filler caps with 6 screws on the outside!

The fuel filler cap of BMW R1100S models is not placed in the middle of the tank, but is placed slightly on the right side of the tank. Because of this, the tank bag will also be placed more on the right side of the tank. Please consider this before placing your order!

I bought the two products to replace a BMW tank bag that I have had for many years. The style of attaching this tank bag is far superior to the previous one. My one criticism is that the tank bag sits slightly off centre, however and more than happy

Ordered the Tank Bag in Germany as I could not obtain one in UK at the time plus Honing were less expensive anyway and being a good Scotsman that's important to us!!. On the Plus side Delivered very quickly and good tracking Quality Product well made and thought out. Quick release system is excellent. On the minus side Screws for attaching the ring to the tank were about 2mm too long but no big problem to reduce in length. There is a front strap that I assume is for additional security it is not well designed and is a real fiddle to tension. The rain cover is an afterthought which is supplied in a neat pouch but takes up quite a lot of room in what is a smallish bag to start with if you want to carry it with you. Overall however a very good product and the fact that the bag does not come into contact with the tank save the tank paintwork
