With this 17 inch rim conversion kit for the front wheel you get a real Supermoto feeling on your R1200GS and make the motorcycle even more agile, sporty and dynamic. Curves can be taken narrower and faster and the R1200GS is visually upgraded by the high-quality alloy wheels. The rims are available in three colors (matt black, matt gold-coloured and matt titanium coloured) and, thanks to their reduced weight and smaller diameter, they allow better acceleration and deceleration. The front fender will be lowered. All in all, the R1200GS gets a sportier appearance and a smoother ride. The conversion kit includes a 17 inch rim for the front wheel and an identically coloured 17 inch rim for the rear wheel.
Note: If you modify a spoke OEM rim, the tire pressure sensor of the OEM cast rim including the fixing material has to be used. These tire pressure sensors must be fixed at the borehole at the inner side of the new rim, opposite the valve (use screw lock!). It is not possible to use the sensor of the spoke oem rim.

Optionally, the rim conversion kit is also available including larger, floating brake discs for the front wheel. The 320mm (original: 305mm) big and 5.5mm thick brake discs improve the braking performance of your R1200GS. The braking performance of your bike will not decrease even in high-strain situations, such as on serpentine circuits. The ABS sensor ring is adapted to the new tire circumference to obtain the ABS functions.

The kit is delivered with all required conversion parts and a TÜV parts appraisal and can be easily entered in the vehicle documents. Without new tires.
