The rear section of the front fender is not long enough to effectively keep road debris off the exhaust and front of the engine. The fender extender solves this problem effectively and elegantly.
Made of tough ABS plastic the extender attaches to the original fender with expanding rivets which are of course included.

Also referred to as fender extension, mudguard extension.
Length: 155mm

Does the fender extension also fit with knobby tires or off-road use?
Only to a limited extent. With knobby tires, there may be insufficient clearance between the tire and the fender extension (depending on the tire and the fender extension's installation position). If exposed to a lot of heavy stone impact, the fender extension will naturally suffer and possibly even be damaged. However, you could look at it this way: it's better to damage the fender extension than the engine casing and other important parts — but everyone has to decide for themselves.
