Quite tricky to fit because the front bolt is right behind the frame tube on a 1200R (might be easier on a GS), not even room for a 1/4" torx bit from a screwdriver. I set the suspension to solo and with the bike on the sidestand got a friend to sit on the rear of the seat to compress the suspension.
