ZTechnik's Z5220 windscreen stabilizer kit adds support and strength to the OEM windshield mount arms on BMW R1250GS motorcycles.
The stabilizer kit securely supports even the tallest ZTechnik touring size windscreen. The Z5220 kit also works with all OEM and aftermarket windscreens currently available.
The stabilizer bracket installs easily and is fully compatible with the OEM windscreen height adjust hardware. Simply loosen the two stabilizer knobs, adjust the windscreen like you normally do, re-tighten the two knobs, and off you go.

Cannot be installed in combination with our GPS Mounting 44014!

How can I avoid losing the star grips during the ride?
Usually, you can only lose the star grips if you did not re-screw them properly after adjusting the windscreen height. In order to avoid losing them, you can also put an o-ring at the end of the star grip thread. Thus, the star grip can no longer rotate out of its support due to vibrations.

Bought kit as suggested & it must be beneficial as the screen is rigidly held, does not vibrate and subsequently quieter than standard
