Handlebar risers with offset: 30mm higher and 21mm closer to the rider

Raising the handlebar by 30mm results in a more upright, much more relaxed seating position. Moreover, the handlebar is brought 21mm closer to the rider which additionally improves driving comfort. The overall result is a noticeable increase in stamina and concentration. Long stretches on the motorway are less nerve-racking.
Fits on original 32mm handlebar.

Install Instruction

When mounting the handlebar risers, you have to reposition the clutch cable (see install instruction).
If repositioning the clutch cable is too complex, you can also extend it with our special adapter (part no. 26865), which is sold separately.

Questions about this article

Are special bolt available for the 30/21 riser to accommodate the r1250r NAV mounting as with the smaller 25 mm riser?
Yes, we offer the special Screws set 31002 to mount the BMW GPS System on a usual Handlebar riser without offset (25mm). If you use our special Screws set you do not need to remove your GPS.

We do not offer the same special Screw set to mount the GPS on a Handlebar riser with offset. On this handlebar riser the original BMW GPS system fits without any change.
But we offer a special set of screws 2534-520 for the handlebar riser with offset, which can replace your special Screws in case you want to remove your GPS.

Why can I not pull the clutch line as it is shown in the video / in the installation instruction?
The clutch line is fixed at the frame (behind the cooler) with a clamp (hose holder). You cannot see this clamp, you can only feel it when you grab along the clutch line with your hand. The holder must be opened and only then you can pull the clutch line (as shown in the video / installation instruction).

Do I need the additional screws (item 2534-520)?
BMW uses special screws with threads in their extended screw heads on the triple clamp in order to mount the navigation system there. If somebody does not want to mount the navigation system there anylonger, our shorter screws (2534-520) can be used. With these screws you do not have any disturbing screw heads with thread on the triple clamp. An elegant solution if you do not want to mount the support of the BMW GPS system on the triple clamp anylonger. Our short screws (2534-520) are not necessary for mounting the handlebar risers.

This is a nice product, Very happy with it. Well made and finished, with careful re- routing of the clutch hose it fitted perfectly. ( Mechanical ability required ) The difference in ride is subtle but effective, I would definitely recommend this product, definitely improved comfort on the bike for me.
