Give your BMW R12G/S the handling it deserves! It comes from the factory with long suspension travel, but only with the professional Wilbers suspension setup does it reach its full potential. The stock shock is too soft, resulting in unbalanced handling. Wilbers’ individually tuned shocks ensure proper damping setup, optimal sag, and balanced geometry for precise handling in every riding situation.

Wilbers Shock Absorber Type 643 Competition QS: Adjustable spring preload, compression and rebound damping
This shock absorber features a transversely mounted, pivoting reservoir, allowing flexible installation even in vehicles with limited space. The upper mount is made from a robust machined part with integrated adjusters for high- and low-speed compression, to which the reservoir is attached. Compression and rebound are each adjustable in 22 clicks, enabling precise fine-tuning without compromise. An integrated overpressure valve effectively prevents suspension disturbances caused by uncontrolled impacts. The spring preload can be continuously adjusted using the included hook spanner. As an optional accessory, a mechanical adjustment using a socket wrench is available. When your vehicle is carrying a heavier load, the correct ride height can thus be restored in no time without having to use a hook spanner.
