This mudguard extension only fits for BMW S1000XR (2020- ) with original BMW carbon front mudguard!
For the normal plastic mudguard, please use item 054901!

The rear section of the front fender is not long enough to effectively keep road debris off the exhaust and front of the engine. The fender extender solves this problem effectively and elegantly.
Made of tough ABS plastic the extender attaches to the original fender with expanding rivets which are of course included.

Also referred to as fender extension, mudguard extension.

I really need this product, but I am loathe to drill holes in the ///M carbon fiber fender. Is there a less destructive installation method - perhaps one involving adhesives/epoxy?
We fully understand your point. You can try to fix it with an appropriate glue, we know of some customers who have done that. But we can not guarantee that this kind of fixation will last.
