This elegantly designed rear hugger is made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic and ensures that your legs, the suspension and the rear part of your BMW F650GS, F700GS & F800GS will stay dry and clean.
Does not fit for lowered bikes.
Also referred to as rear hugger, rear fender, rear splash guard, mud guard, mud protection.

The mudguards were developed and tested with standard road tires.
Tires with very high edges or extremely knobby tires can cause impairments.
The mudguards are not suitable for off-road use.

This product has a General Operating License for Germany. An additional TÜV approval is not required. This General Operating License is valid in many other countries.

What does grounded/primed mean?
A GRP (glass fiber reinforced plastics) part is primed (mostly shiny black primed), after you pull it out of the mold in which it was laminated. A primed part is not a perfectly painted part! It can for example have small scratches and so on. This is normal and no big deal, because usually these products get painted in the respective motorcycle colour (by the customer or by the customer’s varnisher). Primed means ready for painting! It does NOT mean perfectly painted and also does not mean that the part has a perfect surface.

I've bought this carbon fiber hugger for my F800GS Adventure 2013-model. Although Hornig does not say it is for the F800GSA, only the F800GS I can confirm that it fits very good on a F800GSA 2013 model- I've just mounted it so I have no user experience yet. I feel it looks good and so far I am very satisfied.
