I purchased the magnetic tip oil sump plug just to make sure all metallic debris was collected from motor oil. Installed by mechanic, no problems, will see how oit works when time comes for next oil change.

very good idea, I will put it in the next oil change. I am curious that the metal particles those appear in the oil in time are ferromagnetic or not. For instance if they are aluminum this will not work. Any ideas?
