2013-07-09 - More than 40.000 visitors from all over the world

BMW Motorrad celebrated the 90th birthday from 5 to 7 July 2013 at the BMW Motorrad Days with a record number of visitors. Over 40.000 visitors from all over the world came to this event. The visitors came from approximately 40 countries. Probably a group of Chinese people had to travel the greatest distance. They had taken the land route with their bike to come to Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Beside a large beer tent with different live bands, you could listen to Michael Martin and his adventures at the campfire. All current BMW motorcycles were ready to take a test drive and at the exhibition place visitors could see what kind of things you might be able to do with a motorcycle from BMW. A total of about 25.000 litres of beer were poured. 10.000 pretzels, 1.500 burgers and 4.800 half chickens were eaten.
