New at Hornig: WRS Windscreens – Made in Italy

From now on, you will find a selection of high-quality windscreens from the Italian manufacturer WRS in our online shop. The company from Cattolica, Italy, has been developing and producing windscreens for motorcycles since 2008, combining many years of experience with modern manufacturing technologies.
At WRS, the windscreens are manufactured entirely in-house – from development and design through to the finished screen. Development involves the use of 3D scanners, CNC milling machines, laser cutting technology and modern simulation software. This allows the products to be precisely tailored to the respective motorcycle models. The result is high-quality windscreens that combine functionality, wind protection and design. WRS places particular emphasis on high manufacturing quality and production in Italy.

A passion for motorcycles has been part of WRS from the very beginning. Since 2018, WRS has been producing screens for sport motorcycles in addition to windscreens for touring motorcycles and is connected with various racing teams as a technical partner. These include the BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team. This combination of motorsport, technical development and practical experience also flows into the products for road use.

With the new WRS windscreens, we are expanding our range with another interesting option for individually adapting the wind protection and appearance of your BMW. Whether for sporty riding, extended tours or everyday use – discover the various WRS windscreens to suit your BMW motorcycle.

WRS Windscreens for various BMW models

Our new WRS range currently includes windscreens for various BMW Motorrad models – from the classic R1100GS to current models such as the R1300GS and S1000XR.

BMW S1000XR (2020- )

Various WRS windscreens are available for the S1000XR. In addition to two small touring windscreens – available in lightly or heavily tinted versions – a larger touring windscreen is also available. For those who prefer a sportier look, the heavily tinted sport windscreen offers a more compact alternative. This allows the wind protection of the S1000XR to be adapted according to individual preferences – from a sporty, compact windscreen to the larger touring version.

BMW R1300GS and R1300GS Adventure

WRS also offers various wind protection solutions for the current R1300GS and R1300GS Adventure. The selection includes lightly and heavily tinted touring windscreens as well as a large transparent touring windscreen. The latter provides additional wind protection while being significantly more compact than particularly large screens from other manufacturers. For riders who want to stay as close as possible to the size of the original windscreen, a heavily tinted version in approximately the original size is also available.

BMW R1200GS LC & Adventure and R1250GS & Adventure

WRS also offers sport windscreens in various versions for the liquid-cooled R1200GS and R1250GS models. Transparent, lightly tinted and heavily tinted versions are available. The more compact design not only gives the motorcycle a sportier appearance, but also provides an interesting alternative to the standard windscreen.

BMW F900GS

A small touring windscreen from WRS in a heavily tinted version is currently available for the F900GS. The compact screen combines additional wind protection with a sporty appearance.
