You can plug in all extra devices like GPS navigation systems in your cockpit with this cable. Picture 2 shows you which cable is + (Plus) and - (Minus). Picture 3 shows you the plug which you can plug into your cockpit.

Also referred to as universal BMW CAN-BUS 12V power connector with cable for GPS, outlets or other electronics.

Before ordering, please check whether the required connection on your motorcycle is still free and not already occupied (BMW may have already connected another device there).

The maximum is 3amp.

Where does the third wire connect to please?
The third wire is only for the BMW Multicontroller (the wheel some BMWs have on the left which you can use to navigate through the computer or BMW Naviagtor).
If you don’t have this wheel, then you can’t and don’t use this third wire (works only with BMW Navigator).

Where do I plug this cable on my motorcycle?
Remove the tank center part. Next to the battery is the correct plug.

Worked a treat but for the price it would have been better if it was for the specific GPS rather than me having to connect the specific TomTom power lead to it.
