In our "Exhausts" category for the BMW R1100S, we currently only offer the high-quality Hattech dual silencer version. Previously, there were also versions from Remus – with or without a Y-pipe (without a catalytic converter) – as well as an exhaust system manufactured by Laser, which was even used in the official Boxer Cup racing series. These models are unfortunately no longer available.
The Hattech silencers are made entirely of stainless steel and welded, with a polished surface, EC/ABE approval (road legal, homologation), and an integrated license plate holder with LED light. They deliver a powerful, rich sound without any loss of quality while simultaneously increasing power delivery – with maximum precision and plug-and-play installation.
- Powerful bass sound at legal volume thanks to ABE-compliant (street legal, homologated) tuning and no registration requirement.
- Significant performance improvement noticeable in the low to mid-rpm range.
- Made entirely of robust stainless steel, durable and corrosion-resistant.
- Includes welded license plate holder – license plate can be mounted approximately 6 cm higher.
Historically, the following variants were available:
- A Y-pipe from Hattech, some also available with EC-ABE/catalytic converter. Well-made and precisely fitting – improved torque structure, without any noticeable loss of power.
- Laser Twin Oval exhaust systems were also used in the past, for example, on the Boxer Cup Replica (2003–2005). These were known for their clear racing sound and use in BMW racing. Unfortunately, they are no longer available in our shop.
- Also formerly in our range: Remus systems with an optional Y-pipe – for both street and racing use. These models are now sold out and can no longer be ordered.
Why the Hattech exhaust is the best choice:
- Legally safe to use with a valid ABE approval (street legal homologation)
- Sporty yet harmonious exhaust sound, without excessive noise
- Easy installation – no modifications or adjustments required
- Extra-light and robust – optimal design and technical quality "Made in Germany"
Conclusion: The current Hattech dual silencer is the only exhaust system currently available from us for the BMW R1100S – both technically superior and sonically impressive. The older versions from Remus and Laser offer nostalgic highlights and were once an integral part of the R1100S scene – especially on the R1100S in Boxer Cup racing.
